Communication Support

The Communication Support Unit provides a range of services including British Sign Language Interpreters, Lipspeakers and Electronic note-takers.

Our interpreters work in a variety of situations, for example

• Medical settings e.g. Doctor and hospital appointments
• Employment e.g. Job interviews, staff meetings and training sessions
• Conferences
• Legal Situations e.g. Police and court
• Education

The unit employs experienced and qualified interpreters, and we have access to freelance and sessional professionals.
