Deaf Clubs

DeafVision supports the Deaf community by working with deaf clubs and other self-help groups throughout Cumbria and Dumfries and Galloway. 

Deaf clubs are a great place to meet and make new friends. They can provide:

• Refreshments, lunch clubs and evening activities
• Advice and support sessions
• Informative talks
• Trips

Deaf club groups are held at the following DeafVision Centres:

Barrow- meet every Thursday and Saturday

Kendal - every Friday night members only, new members can apply

Senior Citizen's Group Carlisle - meet every 2 weeks on Tuesday evenings (call 01228 606434 for details)

Social Group Whitehaven - we can put you in touch with deaf people living in West Cumbria. Please contact DeafVision Carlisle office on 01228 606434.
