Manchester Deaf Centre is run by a deaf-led board of trustees including deaf, hearing, deafened and hard of hearing members.
The centre is a place for D/deaf, deaf-blind and hard of hearing people to meet and socialise. The centre runs an agency, Communication Support Service (CSS), which provides Sign Language Interpreters. There are also Linkworkers based at the centre to give advice and support on access to services.As a charity the Deaf Centre relies on donations to ensure our services and projects for the deaf community can continue.
