Christmas Concert raises £1000 for DeafVision

On Thursday the 26th January 2012 Cumbria-Deaf Vision received a cheque for £1,000 from the proceeds of the Christmas concert by the 60 strong Brampton and District Choir.

This money was raised by holding a concert in William Howard School in Brampton which attracted an audience of 168 people. Carols and other works were sung and choirmaster Stuart Stockell said ”We are delighted to help local charities each year with the proceeds from the excellent support we receive from the local community for our concert”.

Appeal Director Ian Wilson is seen receiving the cheque on behalf of Cumbria Deaf Vision the leading Charity in Cumbria helping people with hearing difficulties.
