Sign Language Training
British Sign Language (BSL) is the first or preferred language of an estimated 70,000 Deaf people in the UK, and in March 2003, BSL was recognised by the Government as a language in its own right.
DeafVision runs BSL evening classes in partnership with Carlisle College, which is an excellent way to begin learning. We offer a portfolio of qualifications from beginner to professional levels, and our range of qualifications means you can develop a broad knowledge of communicating with deaf people, or work towards professional level skills and a career as a communication professional.
