Help the New Directory Enquiries
The national organisation 'Hearing Concern' has been asked by the new Directory Enquiry Service - 118118 to help test its SMS service which they hope will be helpful for people with a hearing loss. The service is not yet operational and they are anxious to get people with hearing loss to test the service beforehand. Those volunteering will get £5 to cover the cost.
The test will require you to send 5 SMS at five different times, asking 5 different things over the period of one week, then fill out a feedback form.
Questions could include:
- Train times & platforms
- Directory enquiries
- Cinema listings
- Price Finder (Can you find a new Apple lap top for under £2000?)
- Pub Quiz (what are the names of the members of the Spice Girls?)
But basically you can ask anything.
