Technical Equipment Officer

• Flashing/vibrating alarm clocks
• Room loop systems (hearing aid users) for television and conversation
• Portable listening devices
• Minicom– training and installation
• Flashing/vibrating door and telephone units
• Flashing/vibrating smoke alarms

For Public and Business users:

• Loop system (including induction loop hire) and training
• Minicom – information and training
• We also offer information and advice on the purchase of equipment

(Some of these services may incur a charge)

The service is easy to access.

You can either make a referral yourself or get someone to do it for you, e.g. family, friend, Social Services, etc., by contacting the Rehabilitation and Technical Officer on telephone/minicom no: 01228 606764 during office hours.

In due course you will be contacted to confirm an appointment for the Rehabilitation & Technical Officer to visit you at your home.
