Volunteers
DeafVision employs around 49 permanent staff, some of them part-time, and yet the organisation provides support and services to people across Cumbria. We have sixteen volunteers (including our Trustees).
We could not do our work without our volunteers.
Our volunteers support our work in all sorts of ways:
Care Packages
Administration
Information Service
Fundraising
Being a volunteer is one of the most rewarding things you can do.
Have you ever thought of giving some of your spare time to help organisations or individuals on a voluntary basis?
Here at DeafVision we value our volunteers very highly.
They are an essential part of our organisation and provide indispensable support to our services.
Would you like to join us?
We are always happy to welcome new volunteers.
Administration Volunteer
At present we are looking for a volunteer to help us with re-organising one of our filing systems. This is a one-off assignment and we are flexible to fit in with your commitments. If you have experience of this type of work we would like to hear from you. Contact our Carlisle office on 01228 606434.
